Students are taught during their first semester at UD how to find and use resources to track their academic progress and plan future semester schedules. After reviewing their individual course needs (Advising Worksheet) and reviewing course offerings (Course Search), students should meet with their assigned advisor to review their upcoming semester schedule plan. Once a plan is agreed upon, advisors will grant registration clearance, which allows the student to self-register on their assigned registration date.
Registration opens on a seniority basis. Specific registration dates can be found in the Academic Calendar. Be sure to also note other important deadlines within the Academic Calendar, such as the last day to add, drop or withdraw from a course.
Detailed scheduling and registration "How Tos" are available in MyUD, under the Students tab.
